Week #12 - Patience is a Virtue

你好!

This week one lesson I learned is to be patient. This week Elder Ferguson and I where able to put two of our friends on date for baptism, and we have been helping them prepare for that.

We also had a random chinese lady ask us " Weishenme moermen jiao shi hengao he henshuai?" Which translates to "Why are all Mormons so tall and handsome". So that was pretty strange.

On another note, one thing that many of our friends struggle with is prioritizing religion in their lives. They believe God is their Father in heaven but they do not understand why they need to pray to him and seek his help. I have had to be patient with them and let the witness of the spirit help them to know the power and importance of personal prayer. I know God wants to hear from us and can reach out to us when we pray. I challenge you to look for more opportunities to pray to our Heavenly Father everyday and I know as you do you will feel his love.

Scripture of the week: Doctrine and Covenants 31:11
Go your way whithersoever I will, and it shall be given you by the aComforter what you shall do and whither you shall go.

That is all for this week
再见,
Elder Rees
